 Encore Development Corporation, founded by Partners Gary Kirstein and Steven Kay in 1995 have a legacy of residential and commercial development in the Washington Metro Area of over 45 years. Both were senior officers during the 70's, 80's at Richmarr Construction Corporation where the two first started working with one another. Since branching off with smaller, leaner Encore Development in the 90's, their projects have included Custom homes in Avenel, Chevy Chase, Darnestown, Washington, D.C., A 226 single family home golf course community in Frederick County (The Fairways at Holly Hills), Infill Single Family Commmunities in Leesburg, VA and Garden Apartment condominiums in Ashburn, Virginia. Currently Kirstein & Kay are working on a 330 unit apartment building in downtown Bethesda, Custom homes in Potomac and off of Burdette Road in Bethesda and a luxury attached single family community near the intersections of Wisconsin & Massachussetts Avenues in Washington, D.C.
